Returns and Refunds

All shipped items are robustly packed and fully insured.

Refunds will be given for books which are lost, or found to be inaccurately described or damaged in transit, provided that any problem is reported on receipt and the book(s) returned within 14 days. In these cases the return postage will be refunded. Care should be taken to return books in the condition in which they arrived. Any refund will be processed within a few working days of the return, the method of refund being agreed with the customer.

  • A partial refund might be negotiated for an inaccurately described or damaged book if the customer wishes to retain it.
  • Refunds may be offered for books which have been corrected described at the Managing Director’s discretion. In such cases a refund will be made for the book only, not for the outgoing or return postage.
  • St Philip’s Books cannot be held responsible for any taxes, VAT or duties imposed on goods in a customer’s destination country.
  • If any items are returned as a result of a customer's failure to comply with import regulations in their destination country, St Philip's Books reserves the right to deduct incurred costs from any refund, including shipping & handling and payment processing fees.
